Boy or Girl?

On January 14th, we ventured to the doctor for our half way point ultrasound. We were both excited. Ryan said that he told everyone at work before he left that he thought our baby was a girl. I was set on thinking all boy. I was shocked and Ryan was not too surprised when we found out that our baby is definately a girl!!! It was so neat to watch her move on the ultrasound screen. Here are some of the ultrasound clips and a short slideshow that Ryan put together...he's going to be such a great daddy! Thank you all for your continued prayers as we only have maybe less than 20 weeks left!

Nursery Beginings
Here is a sneak peak of our nursery thus far. With the generosity from our Lord through family, we were able to go ahead and purchase a crib and diaper changing table! Still some modifications need to be done to the nursery, but we have plenty of time....well time is going by quickly too though. I am, today, 13 weeks or 3 months or the first day in my second trimester!!! The Lord has blessed me and Ryan by allowing me to be free from much sickness also known as morning sickness. I do have the occassional, "get that away from me," or "or that food smells disgusting," moments, but other than that, I am enjoying pregnancy and we look foward to June!!!

We're pregnant!!!

The LORD has blessed us indeed. We went to the doctor this morning and were blessed to see an ultrasound with a tiny tiny baby. We heard and saw the heart beat! Only 8.7mm long now and a heatbeat of 140bpm. I am seven weeks and six days (eight tomorrow) along. Our expected due date is June 11th of next year! We praise the LORD!!!

The Ransford Family Fall Festival
Yesterday was our Annual Family Fall Festival out at my parent's house in Chapin. This is only the third year of this new tradition. We have do crafts with the kids and have a few contests. This year the only contest we really had was a pumpkin carving contest. The winner this year was Elizabeth...well, she actually painted her very pregnant belly as a pumpkin. Shawn carved Yoda on his pumpkin and he really came in "first" place overall. The kids all dressed up in their costumes. Linnea as cowgirl, Ellie as a princess, Adrian as Spiderman, and Reese as a shark.
